【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesgeneralrequirementsforthedesignandconstructionofguardsprovidedprimarilytoprotectpersonsfrommechanicalhazards.Thestandardappliesprimarilytomachineswhicharemanufacturedafterthedateofissueofthisstandard.Attentionisdrawntotheuseofguardstominimiseexposuretonon-mechanicalhazards.Therequirementsareapplicableiffixedandmovableguardsareused.Thestandarddoesnotcoverthosepartsofguardswhichactuateinterlockingdevices.ThesearecoveredinEN1088.Thisstandarddoesnotproviderequirementsforspecialsystemsrelatingspecificallytomobilityandabilitytoliftloadslikerolloverprotectivestructures(ROPS)andfalling-objectprotectivestructures(FOPS).
