【摘要】:Thispracticeisusefulforestablishingandmaintainingstandardlightingconditionsincottonclassingrooms.Thispermitstheclassertomakeavalidassessmentofthecolorgradeofcotton.Thecottonclasserattemptstoclassifycottononthebasisofthecolorthesampleandthestandardwouldhaveindaylight.Itisessentialthatthelightinginaclassingroomisconstantandthatitmakesthecolorofcottonappearasnearlyaspossibleasitwouldinnaturaldaylight.Uniformlightingconditionspermitclasserstogofromoneclassingroomtoanotherwithouthavingtomakeadjustmentsforwidedifferencesintheamountandqualityoflighting.1.1ThispracticecoverspracticesingeneraluseintheUnitedStatesforlightingcottonclassingrooms,providesgeneralbackgroundinformationregardingthedevelopmentandestablishmentofthesepractices,andprescribesatestmethodforappraisingthecolorqualityoflampsprocuredforthispurpose.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
